Hello, members of Starlight Academy. It has all boiled down to this! One staff position there ready for you to claim, and all you have to do is read and post. Oh, and fill out the form below. This thread will be locked on December 1st, if there is no tryouts before then, they will be opened a bit longer, but if there are a few tryoutees, this thread will be locked on December the 1st.
You need the slightest bit of experience, a high activity level, and you have to be trusted. Really, that's all it takes, and the person with the best post gets to be an admin of this site! Like, yay! Of course there's not that many members at the moment but if you post our ad on every site you know we'll get more members (and more tryouts so you have to try really hard)!

Jay put on regular clothes for once, tired of the jockey gettup. He wasn't even going training today. What was the point? To show off? Not likely. As he was walking along campus, just walking for fun. Not even jogging or running, he came along the fountain, and to girls. Both Elites. Hello, He thought. Maybe he did want to show off today.
He walked over to the girls, smiling at the younger girl, but then scowling as he saw her friend. "You know, the only reason I didn't win that race was because I couldn't race. Rythm could have beat that mutt of a horse by a mile." he said, his accent shining through. And Rythm is the best horse around. He thoguht, still scowling at the girl. He didn't even know her name. He should have one that race. Stupid, stupid wrist. He couldn't race because he broke his bloody wrist. That didn't mean he skipped going to it. He glared at the girl, almost forgetting Appy was there.
Appy growled at the two Elites, and then he saw a ball. "Oh no..." he said, before the large dog went chasing the ball and, pulling Jay, over the fountain, and after the ball. Jay let go of the leash, not wanting to break his wrist again. With a few vain attepts to stay on his feet, Jay slipped and fell, face-first into the fountain. He stayed there for a while, cursing his luck, before turning around and sitting up.

The sun dappled the forest, and the creek was trickling along, going from north to south to find it's way to the lake, the bubbling of it, so pleasant to his ears. His large, silver ears. Stepping out into the sand, the silver cat looked down at his speckled silver paws, he just wanted to think. Sit and think by the bubbling creek with the dawn light dappling his silver fur, the crisp, fresh fall air filling his nose. He still couldn't beleive it. Life was just great for him now. He had three beautiful kits, well, he wasn't sure if they were his, but they were his mate's kits and he would be the father no matter what happened, he would support Aleutear.
He wasn't sure if he had heard right, but Pinstar had made him deputy. Larkfeather, the cat with the worst childhood ever, the cat that came with his sister, Dreamstorm, and his dead sister, to ShadowClan, in the cold and rain. They accepted him, and now he knew his clan respected him, too. His sister was always the leader in their relationship, but the clan some him as more of a leader than her. Thanks to Aleutear, he had come out of his shell. He was always so shy as a kit. Yeah, well not anymore. He could sit here forever, with crisp air in his nose and dawn sunlight dappling his pelt, with colours all around him and the bubbling of the brook in his ears. His large, silver ears.
Why You Should Have This Position: Because I have no social life so I can be here everyday, I like RPing, I'm good at RPing, I don't abuse power, I'm loyal, I like waffles and You love me. xD Oh, and I have one of those. A sense of humor.

i definitely have experience with graphics, coding, and whatnot. i'm a mod on wcv03, and i've created a few sites (my last one being 'a fresh dawn' or something). i also like to make test sites in my spare time and use a lot of codes xD
Roleplaying Example:
five pm on a friday. why was he wandering the school corridors? he could just be in his dorm, practising some acoustic, or electric, or bass, guitar, or writing some songs, or even doing homework. but no, he was out and about in the corridors of starlight academy. seriously, why? the blonde haired boy could easily be doing something else rather than hanging around in his dorm. he could be out riding his thoroughbred horse, ciaran.
this fifteen year old blonde haired boy was keith gray, middle name 'velis'. he had either hazel or brown eyes, it depended on the lighting. right now he had hazel eyes, leaning over to green. he had a slim, but muscular, build, and he had a height of five foot ten inches. he was a good lookin' jock, like most of them, and not as dumb as... a few of them. he was quite intelligent, actually.
today keith was clad in dark blue jeans (no, not skinny, you emos) with a black tshirt, short sleeve. over his torso he wore a beige cream jacket, with a buckle on one of the collars. he liked this outfit, quite a bit actually. it was one of his more casual looks... like most of his clothes.
daydreaming a little, thinking about lyrics for a song, keith never caught sight of the person who, too, seemed to be deep in thought, and he bumped into them. he would have knocked them down to the floor if he hadn't caught them quickly by the shoulders. he had good, quick reactions... most of the time. they tended to slow down a little over a bit of an overdose of drugs (something he kept secret from most people).
blinking a couple of times, keith looked at the person, pulling his hands away from their shoulders. he blinked again, looking at the person before saying, "sorry about that," in his scottish accent as he looked over the person, trying to recognize them, and, well, take in their features.
not my best piece of roleplaying but eh.
Why You Should Have This Position:
well i'm friendly, and nice (however i am very hyper), and i have quite a bit of experience of being an owner/member of staff on a site. plus i'm good with codes. and graphics. and skins. sort of. xD
if you do pick me add a note below my avatar and put "please note - keith gray's roleplayer is actually a female who prefers playing males xD" or something along those lines. o0;

Yep, today is December the 1st and it's about time this ended. It's disappointing only two people tried out, but I'm glad someone did! It's a really tough choice for me now. But I have decided who I am going to pick as the next admin of Starlight Academy.
OK, right. This was a really tough thing because there's Sabrina who seems to have no intention of coming back. You're both really active, and I have nothing against you. My options were: choose between two of my best friends, or: take away my best friend Sabrina's position and let you both have the title of admin.
Sabrina hasn't been here in forever. so I decided that...
BOTH KEITH AND JAY ARE THE NEW ADMINS OF THE SITE.
Yay! Well done. I'm sorry about taking Sabrina's position away, but I had to do what was good for the site. D:
