I'm on this other site for roleplay which doesn't have multiple accounts for different characters, but this is a thing on there which I think is quite cool:
They have three character slots for initial members like us - normal members with no additional powers. Then, staff members can have one extra slot, making their maximum four character slots. They have 5 slots in total, but only three of them can be used by initial members.
Also they run competitions throughout the year where, sometimes, you can win another character slot (for normal members only.) What do you think?

I'm kind of confused. What are character slots? Does that just mean how many characters you're allowed to play? |

Yes ;3 A character slot is like... well, your character Adelaide is taking up one of your three character slots, you know?
