Personality Overall: Adelaide is a troubled girl, really. She has had all of the fame and glory she could ever want as a famous French chanteuse, and she wants to play her hand at being normal. After seeing her troubles with her eating disorder splashed all over the French newspapers a year ago, she gave up trying to make it on her own. Her pride was torn apart, her emotions were frayed, and she felt rejected by her parents. Now, she is merely a timid shell of a girl who just wants to make it out of high school.
Beneath the shell, though, she is slowly finding who she is. She is passionate and creative, driven to get herself healthy both mentally and physically, and not the pushover she had been during the previous years of her life. Her future path is becoming clearer and clearer every day she pushes on.
She is more content with her aunt than she had ever been in France, more relaxed and okay with not running twenty-four-seven. She's learning how to slow down and take things one day at a time, instead of having to book time for things a month in advance. Slowly, she is stepping back from the edge of being completely overwhelmed. Something that angers her, however, is seeing the boys and girls at her new school that will do anything to be famous. To her, they don't know what they have, and they want the wrong things for themselves.DREAMS AND MEMORIES
Best Dream She had a dream that she was singing her music, her way, and she had her own clothing line. She was pretty wealthy, but not obnoxiously so, and she was happy.
Worst Dream Worst nightmare, to be precise. It is recurring, prodding her visciously each night until she wakes up panting. She relives the day she woke up in the morning, sat down to eat breakfast (alone, as usual), and glanced at the magazine her mother had left for her...only to find her own face smeared all over the cover with words of her eating disorder.
Best Memory Her best memory is from the day she received her mini-piano at the age of five. It was a Christmas gift that had turned out to pave the way of here not-so-distant future.

Roleplaying Example:
"Fleur! Oh, ma chère! Look at you," came an excessively cheery voice. Adelaide turned with raised eyebrows to look at her aunt. The woman was dressed in bright winter apparel that simply begged for Adelaide's stylish assistance. "You look wonderful." Being pulled into her aunt's arms, Adelaide noticed a shimmer of tears on the woman's lashes.
"Erm, thank you, Aunt Loriane," Adelaide replied sheepishly, kissing each of Loriane's cheeks as the woman did hers. The differences between her aunt and her mother were astounding. Whereas Arielle was very refined and sleek and cool, Loriane seemed to be scatter-brained and warm. Loriane Chevalier seemed to be just the change in pace Adelaide thought she needed; she only hoped that opinion would hold for more than a few months.[/ul]
