the sky overhead was dark; the only light were the parklights and the stars and the argent moon. keith narrowed his eyes slightly in the darkness as he jumped down from the tree branch, landing with his knees slightly bent. he straightened up a bit, looking at his watch (which conveniantly had a light on). nine thirty pm. it was late. he'd best go back but he wanted to wander around a bit more. it's not as if he had school tomorrow anyway. it was a friday...
slowly he pulled his knife out of his pocket, balancing it in the palm of his hand, watching the moonlight reflect off it with currently green eyes, before he just put the blade of the knife in his mouth, holding it. tonight, keith was wearing black trousers, and a dark grey coat that went down to above his knees. for his shirt he just wore a plain black tshirt. around his neck were two dog tags (on a chain, obviously), which were hidden away under his shirt. keith silently walked on the grass over to a park bench, sitting down on it, pulling one of his legs up to his chest, his flat soled boots resting on the bench. he took out his phone, holding it in his hand before putting it back in his trouser pocket, resting his head back against the bench.
this was boring. the blonde jock hoped that something would happen soon, seriously. even someone getting hit by a car would do! at least it would cause some drama and give him some entertainment - for a while, at least...

Jay MacBurren!
Head hurts. Light head. Damn, Damn, Ow. At the clubs, four years underaged in the states. It was wrong. His head was light and he felt loopy and giggley and he didn't know if it was good or bad. He also felt as though he was going to throw up, but he knew he wasn't going to and he didn't know how. He knew there was a fading tint of alcohol to his breath, and he didn't really care.
It had started out as a bet, a tiny bet from his friends back home. Simply just to see if Jay was strong enough, brave enough, the word didn't matter, to go into a club fully knowing he was underaged, and drink something. Really, anything as long as it was alcohol, not wine and not chapian. It had to be something hard, and they didn't think he would do it, but he had. And after the first drink, he had gotten crazy. It had been a tall drink, and it made him stupid with such little exposer to it before, and he had started flirting with the bar-tender. He had been trying to impress her, and it hd gotten out of hand. He had had four or five drinks and now he was loopy and giggily and flirty.
Jay was wearing a pair of pants that were dark denim, and navy-ish coloured converses. On his head he had a hat that was blue and white and had a number 9 on the front, Rhythm's number and he had had it costome made. He blinked a couple times before walking ahead.
Jay staggered into the park, leaving his shirt at the bar. By now it was at night, and probally very late as far as he could tell. He could see a person, and he rolled his head, cracking his neck. He staggered drunkly over to the bench where the person was sitting, quickly realizing it was Keith. "Hey, Keith..." Jay said, the drunkness showing in his voice. Normally, under any other situation, JAy would either punch Keith or tottaly ignore him, but not tonight. Tonight, Jay was drunk and stupid and flirty and could really make out with anyone, boy or girl. Jay rested his chin on Keith's shoulder, looking dazily and drunkedly up at him.

slowly the fifteen year old ran his tongue along the edge of the knife that was in his mouth. he could feel a bit of blood in his mouth now, and it slightly dribbled down his chin. sighing, keith took his leg off the bench, resting the foot on the floor, leaning forward a bit, his elbows on his legs and putting his chin on his hands. he blinked a few times, and he heard a voice say his name. immediately the blonde jock took the knife out of his mouth, hearing a tone of total drunkness in the voice. people did strange things while drunk, and although keith had never drunk before, he knew that he wouldn't get wasted easily.
when he felt the person's chin on his shoulder, keith instantly slid across the bench a bit, one leg now on the bench, bent, and resting against the back of the bench. now that he could see the person, he knew it was jay. keith narrowed his green eyes a bit. he's four years underage! you're too young to be smoking, and taking drugs... ah, touché... he smiled a bit, remembering the voice that always talked to him, usually, telling him to do things or just chat with him. it was rather... strange.
keith sat up ever so slightly on his elbows, smirking to himself. he'd always wondered what it was like to snog jay, and now was his best chance. of course, he had to make sure that a kiss would not go into sex, as keith was underage for that. the smirk softened to a half smile as the sober jock kept his eyes fixed on the drunk jock, noticing that he was shirtless (like the last time he had seen the other male). keith narrowed his eyes a bit before speaking calmly, "hello jay... why are you out this late at night?" and shirtless, no less... keith sat up even more on his elbows, blinking a few times, eyes fixed on jay.

Jay's nose twitched and his eyes were droopy. Jay was tired and loopy and he wanted to go home but he wouldn't. Not yet. He may sleep here, even in the cold but without the fear of rain. Rain, like back in Ireland. Rain, where it came every night to flood. Make his life miserable so he would have to move Rhythm to higher land and stay with her all night. It was so much easier here.
Jay moved when Keith moved across the bench, fallowing him, keeping the comfort of his chin on Keith's shoulder. Jay's shoulder's were bent in, keeping his chest out of the night cold. He pressed his nose into Keith's shoulder, rather suggestivly, and groaned.
Jay only heard about half of the words when Keith spoke. "Noffin..." He mumbled. His nose twitched, and he yawned, still not taking his chin off of Keith's shoulder.

the jock almost growled, eyes narrowing when jay moved with him across the bench. he raised a thin eyebrow when the other jock pressed his nose into his shoulder, and keith felt his own nose twitch. dammit, this was getting annoying. very annoying. the blonde had been getting rather angry lately and it was probably because of the drugs. he heard jay mumble something along the lines of 'nothing' in response of his question, and keith rolled his eyes, taking jay by the shoulder and forcing him to sit up. sure, the scottish teenager may look a bit weak but he was actually quite strong.
the eighteen year old felt a smirk come onto his face, eyes fixed on jay's face. it was tempting to do it now, right now. just lean forward... do iiiiittt~ the voice in his head sung, and keith smirked even more. he put his hands on jay's bare shoulders, eyebrow still raised. the jock leaned forward slightly, nose touching jay's, a dark look in his eyes, the smirk still on his face.
keith's warm lips were suddenly against the other jock's, and just a moment after their lips met, the blonde had his tongue in jay's mouth. the eighteen year old had much, much experience with kissing, and therefore, he was a magnificent kisser (not to mention, dark and sexayy). <3

Jay grunted as Keith pushed him up, not wanting to sit on his own. While Jay got giggly when drunk, he also got pissy. He glared at the other jock, his nose twitching. He looked at Keith, tottaly unaware of what was about to happen.
Moments after he realized Keith was kissing him, he kissed him back, full throttle. His tounge was in Keith's mouth, Keith's tounge was in his mouth. Jay was struggling for a grip on the back of the bench. His other arm was wrapped around Keith's neck.
When Jay did get a grip on the bench, he was leaning into Keith. He was drunk and pissy and giggly but giggly was overpowering all the rest.

Elizabeth Labelle Keighle Sometimes in life, Things go wrong, And when I try to fix things up, It just gets worse, So I just give up on everything I believe in, And run away as far as I can, and forget the life I used to live.
It was a late and cold night, it was dark apart from the moonlight and street lamps. I was walking back to school with Sabrina, and even though I was with Sabrina (a junior), I still felt unsafe, especially because we were about to go through the park. I was wearing a blue dress, a silver short-sleeved cardigan and some black high-heeled boots, my hair was tied up in an original style, and I had thick black eye liner and mascara too - some people told me I looked pretty... You can never be too sure though.
I shivered and held my arms just above the elbow, I was secretly scared that someone was going to jump out on me and attack me - or Sabrina. I didn't think either of us has something to fight back with... Apart from my pepper spray - which was running out and stiff. No use at all, really. I was listening out for any noises... And then I stopped dead. I heard something further on in our direction, it was a really strange noise, it sounded as if two people were there, but they weren't fighting - or talking.
I tapped Sabrina on the arm and put my finger to my lips, trying to tell her to 'be quiet'. Then I pointed to our left and crept onto the grass so my shoes wouldn't make a sound on the floor. I made my way up to the noise - not sure if Sabrina was following or not. But if they were some strange people who liked to attack young girls - then that was her problem, not mine. I hid behind a huge, fat tree and peeked around, and I saw the people on a bench - I wasn't sure what they were doing. I snapped back around to the tree and held my breath, I closed my eyes, searching for my phone in my bag. When I found it, I unlocked it and dialled '911' - but didn't call, I kept it on in case something bad happens...
I peeked around the tree again for a closer look... They were snogging! Haha! I wanted to laugh out loud, but I was scared at the same time, so I just grinned. I squinted in the shadows to try and see their faces - I suddenly realised that these people weren't two strangers - they were Keith... And Jay!? Since when was Jay gay? Ugh, he was my friend, why would he lie about his sexuality to me!? I suddenly felt myself hating him - I wanted to murder him... My eyes turned red.
I cancelled the '911' thing in my phone and put the camera on, luckily there was a street light nearby, so I wouldn't have to put the light on. I recorded their snog - waiting for about 30 seconds before stopping it and putting my phone away. I crept out of the shadows and stood behind the bench and put my hands on the back, digging my nails into the metal and scraping them backwards - it made a high pitched 'eeeeek', what people would find horrible and made them squeal and shudder.
What's this then? I asked in a dark and sexy voice, looking back to see if Sabrina was there.

sabrina. Head spinning, tongue dry, clothes torn and wet in patches where spilt drinks slowly extended long, damp claws, seeping into her long cotton jumper and casual jeans. Her long brown hair was loose around her shoulders, complementing her light green and blue outfit almost perfectly. Good choice, she congratulated herself quietly.
She could barely think straight now. There they were - her and Elizabeth, returning from a party that the host could be proud of - just strolling through a park at their own pace, the younger girl leading the way back to the academy. She felt a giggle coming on; perhaps that last 'tipple' at the party hadn't been quite so weak as she'd thought...
She sneezed, and glanced around. Elizabeth looked tense, and Sabrina could've sworn there were two of her, walking side by side in the darkness... It's just the drink speaking, she thought incoherently. Nothing to worry about at all.
For a moment, she thought about the rules of the school: there was probably something in there about drinking at parties. Ah, well - she was a great liar, and if anyone came to call for her... well, they'd just be faced with another studious teenager staying up late for her work.
Never mind the school rules - you're only fifteen! The thought of breaking the law was hilarious to her now - she burst out laughing, regardless of what Elizabeth was trying to sign to her out of the corner of her eye. She continued laughing as the girl went on ahead; let her go, she thought, not really caring about whether she stormed off at the moment. As long as she's not out of sight.
Sabrina cleared her throat, and tried to stand up straight; she was the responsible one here, the one closer to adulthood, and she should be acting like it. However... just one thought of the law forced the giggles out of her again, making her keel over backwards and look at the shimmering stars above her.
She glanced at Elizabeth, rushing ahead with her phone out. Thinking of those devices - those crazy, crazy things! - she pulled hers out of her deep pocket, sliding it open with a quick and easy flick of her thumb. The screen lit up, sending her eyes into whirlwinds of light. Blinking rapidly and resembling a stunned rabbit, she tried to focus on the wonky letters on the screen.
I wish they wouldn't dance like that - it would make it a whole lot easier to see them... She twisted a little, examining the screen from different angles. Still the letters danced and twirled, hiding their true meanings, twisting the words until they formed oddly-shaped flowers and rainbows...
Struggling to catch up with her friend, Sabrina shoved the device away. Ah, leave it be - maybe in the morning it'll co-operate. She tripped over the grass, and toppled on to the ground, landing with her face in the mud. She couldn't help but laugh; it was all a game now, wasn't it? She slowly staggered to her feet, and began walking ahead, wondering what that crazy girl ahead was doing...

Losing grip on the bench, Jay fell off of the bench and onto the ground, shuddering, as the cold ground hit his back. He sat up, the alcohol going to his head and making his head hurt and groan. Jay's nose twitched, his eyes droopy and his eye-brows raised from the drunkness, he looked at Elizabeth. "Hey, there, sweetheart, you look vaugly familiar." He said, the drunkness slurring his voice. He blinked a couple times, standing up and staggering over to Elizabeth.
Jay's green-ish eyes looked into Elizabeth's, blinking, and tried to kiss her but he tottaly missed, falling over on his face. He layed there, giggling for a while, and when he finnally did get up his face was all muddy. He didn't mind, with riding he was usually muddy. But that was only cause he did it competidivly. He looked at Elizabeth and Sabrina, droopy eyed, and said drunkly, "Me and Keith was hang'n out."

Stupid prick, I thought, glaring at him when he rolled off the bench. Hopefully it hurt. I wanted him to smack his head so hard on the ground he died without me having to murder him. My red eyes got brighter and he started getting up off the ground, such an idiot, he can't even die without me having to do it for him. He took his time but he staggered around the bench toward me and tried to kiss me... I was absolutely furious. I couldn't stand to look at him in this state - I mean, Sabrina was bad enough without Jay having to top it. I looked 'vaguely familiar' apparently, he only sees me every day of the bloody week! I had to make this murder slow, painful and memorable.
My bright red eyes went to blood red eyes, I know when they change colour, I can feel it in my veins, somehow it hurt for my eyes to change to an unnatural colour. I took in a sharp and shaken breath I crouched down to Jay's level and put my hand to his throat, not yet strangling him. I breathed out, and closed my eyes, I could smell my fresh, minty breath. I hadn't had anything to drink at the party, just a few mints.
Am I some kind of joke to you? I'm here, right now, lowering myself to your level..." I half-laughed, I've just seen you kissing Keith, Jay. At first I thought you were just lying to me about your sexuality and then I find out your totally wasted... You think I'm going to kiss you? Think again, stupid. I then bent over a bit further and whispered, I. Hate. You.
I let go of his throat, what was the point in killing him now when I could torture him and have fun? I blinked, eyes welling up slightly from anger. And then I actually did what I thought I wasn't going to do. I slapped him around the face so hard my hand turned red, and it felt really sore. I stood up and glared down at him. Eyes blazing red, still, with a tiny smile pulling at my lips.

Jay looked at Elizabeth, his drunk, droopy eyes sparkling with the mischeif that they held even when he was sober. Glaring, going from giggly to pissed, he said, "So what if you are a joke to me? Whacha gunna do 'bout it?" He glared, as far as drunken eyes can glare. Jay blinked a couple times, and laughed, "Wasted? Huh? I'm drunk, Silly."
Jay glared at Lizzy, his emotians changing, conflicting, again. Hate. That was the word that got to him, and as he sturdied himself for a firey remark, he felt Elizabeth's hand smack him across the face. Damn! Now his thoughts were really whirling, the slap in the face had caused his head to hurt more. Trying to keep consiousness and from throwing up, he glared at Lizzy and said, glare showing in his words, "What was that for, you stupid bitch!?" He said, slapping her back across the face, making sure to slap her harder than she slapped him.

a small smirk appeared on keith's face when jay kissed him back. eager, is he not? mm, very... the jock thought quietly, almost pushing jay back as he snogged the older starlight academy student. suddenly, he heard a loud screech, and keith forced himself away from jay, not disturbed at all by the high pitched sound. he raised an eyebrow, still smirking ever so slightly, turning head to look at elizabeth. wow, she looked pissed, especially with her fiery red eyes.
after a moment, keith's forest green eyes noticed another girl. she was most likely an elite, due to her sheer beauty. eyebrow still raised, the blonde jock took the three other people into his view. jay, elizabeth, and the other girl. the fifteen year old pursed his lips, amusement in his eyes as jay spoke, in a very wasted tone of voice. he almost laughed when jay attempted to kiss elizabeth, but failing to do so and falling on the floor. keith pulled up his left leg, the one nearest to the back of the bench, before leaning back on his hands, slightly thin eyebrow raised.
he smirked, listening to elizabeth as she spoke right up into jay's face. much better than television, keith mused to himself, listening, very amused. then, when lizzie leaned in a bit more, whispering. keith twitched, only able to catch the last word - 'you'. the male pursed his lips again, spacing out for a moment, missing the magnificent slap, and a while later, keith noticed a barely visible smile on elizabeth's lips. why?
keith mused to himself, bored, bloody bored. he half closed his eyes, tempted to get out his knife and carve something into... someone's skin? no, that would get him in prison or something. carving something into tree bark wasn't a crime. keith really didn't want to get in jail - yet.
suddenly, he heard jay shout, and he opened his eyes, staring at jay as he suddenly slapped elizabeth. whoa! the jock almost laughed as he closed his eyes. if he wasn't so bored, a smirk would be on his face. perhaps he should be going back to starlight academy and his dorm now. but this was too... interesting.

'So what if you are a joke to me? What are you going to do about it?' , the words repeated in my head for a few seconds. Basically he just said that I was some kind of game/toy that he could put away on a shelf when he was bored. I seriously couldn't believe it - this was not part of Jay's personality - OK, so maybe I said a few nasty things to him but this was just out of order - unforgivable. Keith was leaning on the back of the bench, looking in our direction, but he wasn't with it, he was in a world of his own. I wish I was in a world of my own, but no, I was concentrating on Jay far too much to run away from it all. Then, nothing could prepare me for what Jay did to me next. There was no way on Earth I could dodge it, and even if I knew what he was going to do me, I couldn't. I only realised after a few seconds what he did, a quick reaction for a guy as drunk as Jay.
He slapped me. His (best?) friend (or one of them anyway - if he had any left at this point). I stumbled backwards, having to hold on to the back of the bench for support. My cheek burned - red - probably brighter than my eyes which suddenly changed to black. I cringed - feeling the rush of blood through my veins. 'You stupid bitch...', now that was cold. I might have called Jay something in my mind, but I never said it out loud. Tomorrow he probably won't even remember this whole event, the only thing he'd be worried about was his sore cheek in the morning and his hangover. He probably won't know that he hit me - he probably won't know that I hate him - he probably won't know he kissed Keith right before my eyes. He won't remember anything. I gasped quietly, catching my breath, staring into the distance and still clutching the back of the cold metal bench. I closed my eyes, I didn't know what to say to Jay... But I knew what to do him.
I ran under a low tree branch that was probably just about Jay's hight and turned around a bit far away from it. It probably looked as if I was going to leave - but they shouldn't think I'd give up that easily. I ran back up to the tree branch but jumped this time and started swinging. I quickly built up enough power to kick Jay in the back and hopefully knock him over again. It should hurt too, with my pointy heeled boots, thank God for my gymnastics skills.
I let go of the branch and dropped the the ground, bending my knees, putting one hand on the ground and one hand in the air for balance. I quietly breathed out, making an 'ugh' sound and closed my eyes. I had reacted so fast after moving away from the bench that I was out of breath. It was worth it though, just to see the pain on Jay's face. I dared not move, expecting him to do something far more painful to me than I did to him. It's just going to get worse and worse, until eventually, one of us would be cold and under the ground.

Jay didn't bother looking at Keith. He smirked as he thought Elizabeth was walking away, but sober, he would have realized something was about to happen and move. But no, in this drunken state he only watched and smirked, his eyes getting more droopy by the minute from tiredness. As the branch went back, he couldn't think fast enough to duck, he just sort of stood there. Sober, he would have heard the sharp whistle, but now, drunk, he just could wait for it to come. His head was tilted to the side, his eyes half-closed when it came. He doubled over when the boot hit him, hard, in the back. Ow. He thought, as he fell to the ground, his cheek in the dirt, and head spinning, trying to think.
Being drunk was a funny thing. Everyone got drunk different. For Jay, it was like watching your self do stupid things and not be able to stop yourself even though you knew how wrong it was. He wished he hadn't smacked Elizabeth or snogged Keith. He was being a jerk, an ass, and very stupid, and he couldn't help it. As he went to get up, the pain in his head throbbed and yet again, he doubled over, this time into the bushes, and vomited. He suddenly regretted the whole night.

eyes still closed, keith focused his thoughts on the surroundings, listening mostly. nothing much happened, really. however, he heard someone flee, due to hearing the grass flatten a bit due to shoes - probably high heels, which must have been elizabeth. the young male opened both eyes, his eyes now a pastel yet deep turquoise colour. keith blinked slowly, seeing the blonde elite under a tree branch, and tilted his head a little as he watched as she ran towards it, jumped, grabbed the branch and swung. after a few moments, elizabeth had swung forward and kick jay right in the back. keith finally let a small, almost silent chuckle escape him as jay fell to the floor.
"hah, i'd best go," keith smirked to himself, "not that i really want to, but if a cop came by on patrol, i really don't want to be found here. i'm totally innocent." the fifteen year old swung his left leg of the bench, standing up as soon as both feet were on the ground. he had a dark smile on his face as he took his knife out of his pocket, throwing it up a bit in the air and catching it by the blade in his hand.
the blade broke through his skin and made it bleed. it stung, but the jock ignored it. he simply gave a small wave to elizabeth, glanced over to the bushes, where jay was, and looked at the girl was with. keith raised an eyebrow at the girl he didn't know before he just shrugged, stepped back and kept walking backwards until he felt the concrete path under his boots. then he turned around, crossing his arms, and keeping the knife under his coat - holding the blade - and walked on forwards. he glanced back at the bench and everyone else, a half insane smile on his face before he quickened his pace and exited the park, ending up on the lamp lit streets of the city.
keith headed back to starlight academy, and to his dorm.
exit
continue on a bit longer if you wish before making your characters take their leave.
